BLACKPINK’s LISA earns the Biggest Debut by a Female K-Pop Soloist on Spotify with “New Woman”

BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosalía have broken the internet with their new collaboration, “New Woman,” and, as expected, enjoyed a great debut on Spotify, setting new records and peaks.

“New Woman” has been officially credited with over 6,007,496 streams on its debut, landing at No. 4 on Spotify’s Global Chart, positioning itself as the Biggest New Entry and one of only two newcomers to the Top 10 of this week alongside “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, which ranked number 10 with 4,585,607 streams.

Furthermore, with that streaming figure, “New Woman” is now in the TOP 5 of the Biggest Debuts of Female Collaborations in the Global Spotify chart history. This list composed of music titans are made up of the following artists:

1) “Snow On The Beach”: Taylor Swift & Lana Del Rey with 15 Million streams.

2) “TQG”: Shakira & Karol G with 7.6 Million streams.

3) “Guess”: Charlixcx & Billie Eilish with 6.8 Million streams.

4) “Rain On Me”: Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande with 6.7 Million streams.

5) “New Woman”: Blackpink’s Lisa & Rosalia with 6 Million streams (NEW).

Lisa’s great feats do not end there as “New Woman” it became the Biggest Debut by a K-Pop Female Solo Artist in the history of Spotify, surpassing her own record previously achieved with her solo hit “Rockstar” ( 5.89 Million streams).

She also scored the Biggest Streaming Debut by a Kpop Female Soloist on Spotify US Chart, surpassing the long-held record by her friend Jennie’s song “You & Me.”

On the other hand, Rosalía is also enjoying new achievements as “New Woman” became the Second Biggest Streaming Debut of her career on the Global Spotify Chart, only behind her collaborative song with Bad Bunny, “La noche de noche”. Not only that, she became the First Spanish-speaking Artist to enter the Charts of each Asian Country on Spotify and reached her Highest and First entry in Top Artists Thailand, ranking directly at number 2.

Congratulations to both successful artists!
